The phase everyone would have been through. The phase where an important lesson is learnt. The phase to realise who our real companion is. The phase to realise what our abilities are. This is the most valuable one in everyone’s life. But this too shall pass. Do not run away from pain instead feel it and embrace it to become the better ‘you’. Well, Pain is precious. My opinion on “pain” will be expressed in this article in a different aspect.
THE LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS:
As we all know life is a rose with a lot of thorns called ‘worries’, the way we pluck the rose is how we tackle our issues to maintain the peace within us. The famous American singer Lady Gaga’s journey from chronic pain and depression to an Oscar for ‘A Star Is Born’ explains the context mentioned above. She was sexually assaulted twice in her life which is an irrecoverable pain but she battled her pain by inventing herself “Lady Gaga”, by curating her life to be an expression of pain. “I learned that my sadness never destroyed what was great about me, you just have to go back to that greatness and find out one little light that is left”- Lady Gaga. If at all she didn’t figure out an approach to overcome her pain, she would have not been known to this world.

EMBRACE THE PAIN:
Risk yourself to feel the pain, this brings out a better “you”. Pain digs out the sleeping angel within us. Ellen DeGeneres who is a worldwide entertained comedian, television host, actress and producer risked her entire career and came out daringly to accept that she is a lesbian in 1997. As a result, she lost her shows and was attacked like hell by the media and public. She went from making a lot of money to making no money. She regained herself by helping out teenagers who were suicidal and gradually succeeded the way she was better than before. “When you take risks, you learn that there will be times when you succeed and there will be times when you fail and both are equally important” – Ellen DeGeneres.
THE WARRIOR “YOU”:
Pain is a must in everyone’s life. Pain is to be seeped inside our heart to realise the opposite emotion, ‘happiness’. For example, a child is strong-willed to get a doll and the parents get her immediately. This will not allow her to value the object and their hard work. There is no better tutor than the emotion, ‘agony’. The habit of appreciating pain is to be incorporated from childhood. Not to mention, there are 2 types of pain, one that hurts you and the one that changes you. To convert the ‘hurting one’ to a ‘changing one’ is the biggest deal faced by people. Pain shapes a person into a warrior. All we have to remember is that “this too shall pass”.
“Be patient and tough, someday this pain will be useful to you”. -Ovid. PAIN IS PRECIOUS.
