Getting to Skellig Michael is not an easy journey. Skellig Micheal is an island that sits in the peaks of the Atlantic Ocean of SOUTH-WEST islands. There are about 600 steps leading to a Christian monastery built in the 6th century situated in the peak and the visitors must climb ancient staircases that has various safety challenges. For your journey, you are expected to take food with you as there is no food, shelter or water. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
