Walk Through Time, Dine Through the Foothills of the Himalayas at LOYA’s Heritage Walk Series

Some of Bengaluru’s most enduring stories are woven into the grounds of Taj West End, Bengaluru. This September, LOYA invites guests to uncover the legacy of the iconic hotel through its Heritage Walk Series, an immersive evening that journeys through history before culminating in a thoughtfully curated dining experience inspired by the foothills of the Himalayas.

The experience begins with a guided exploration of the heritage-rich estate of Taj West End, Bengaluru, whose legacy dates back to 1887. Guests will traverse pathways steeped in history, discovering treasured landmarks including the hotel’s majestic 175-year-old rain tree, the original 1905 building block, the Heritage and Art Corridor, and a serene 140-year-old Shiva temple nestled within the lush grounds.

The journey then unfolds at LOYA, where the evening is marked by the restaurant’s signature sabering ritual before guests settle into a menu that celebrates the rich culinary traditions of Northern India. Highlights include Multani Gobhi, Shinwari Murg, Murg Tari Chaul, Malera Roti, and Galgal Paat Murg, culminating with Gud Ke Maan, a comforting Badam Kheer inspired by the Chef’s grandmother’s cherished recipe.

The experience is further elevated by selections from LOYA’s VRIKSH cocktail menu, a thoughtfully curated beverage programme inspired by the diverse landscapes, botanicals, and traditions of Northern India.
