​There Is Hope Says Deepika Padukone

Diva Deepika Padukone shared some important mental health helpline numbers on her social media and urged everyone that there is hope!

The corona-virus pandemic has brought some serious socio-economic uncertainties, giving rise to increased anxiety, depression, addiction and suicide.

Deepika shared a note as well as helpline numbers. The note read, “As millions of us (me and my family included) strive to stay afloat, let us not forget that our emotional well-being in this current crisis, is equally important! Remember, You Are Not Alone. We are in this Together. And most importantly, there is Hope! #YouAreNotAlone @tlllfoundation”

Meanwhile, Deepika, who recently announced her departure from Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI), has an impressive line-up of projects in the pipeline including 83, Baiju Bawra, Fighter, Sanki, Pathan, and the Indian adaptation of Nancy Meyers’s 2015 hit Hollywood film ‘The Intern’.

83’ is a biographical sports film directed by Kabir Khan and jointly produced by Khan, Vishnuvardhan Induri, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva Choudary, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, Sahil Khattar and Amrita Puri.

The film has been delayed three times due to COVID-19, the film is currently scheduled for release on 4 June 2021.
