Steps to Prepare:
All you have to do is to add the required amount of horse gram to the pan with heated oil. Allow it to roast until it turns brown. Remember not to roast until it turns dark. You just have to roast under a low flame and leave it to cool down.
Now, add a teaspoon of oil and add dry chillies and urad dal. Roast the dal until it turns brown. Take the ingredients out and pour in some garlic cloves and wait until it turns soft.
Add the mixture to the jar and wait until it cools down. Then, add the grated coconut, tamarind paste and salt into the jar and blend it together to get the solid tangy chutney.

Pour the soaked horse gram into the pressure cooker and add a pinch of turmeric powder along with the required salt. Wait until 5 to 6 whistles to get well-boiled lentils.
Add ghee to a pan on medium flame and add some mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Along with this, saute ginger garlic paste until the rawness fades.
Now, add the flavoursome onions and tomatoes and mix them well with the chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Allow it to cook for a few minutes.
It’s time to add mashed horse gram to the aromatic mixture and add water if you need. Allow it to cook for a few minutes under low flame.
