Similarly, Indian actor, Chiyaan Vikram is one of the most dedicated actors when it comes to acting. The dedicated actor gave several hit movies in Tamil Cinema. He experiments his body several times just for the character role in the movies. Currently, the actor loses weight for his upcoming movie, ‘Thangalaan’. He seems more fit and stylish when giving a public appearance for Ponniyin Selvan 2 promotions as well. The most famous ‘Anniyan’ actor is celebrating his 57th birthday today. On his birthday, we shall have some throwback to the times when the actor aced his body transformation. Shankar’s directorial ‘I’ was the talk of the country back then. It created even more buzz amid all when fans came to know about Vikram’s different roles in the movie. This 2015 film features Vikram as a bodybuilder, a handsome model, a deformed man and even a thin appearance. He stunned the audiences with his major physical transformations for this blockbuster movie. It was literally the talk of the town as when the actor had to adapt different diets and workouts. I was one of the movies that labelled him as ‘Christian Bale of Indian Cinema.’

Bheema (2008):

Vikram played the title role in this movie in Linguswamy directorial. Everyone were jaw-dropped by his bulked body appearance in the movie which gained most attention during the shooting period. Did you know that he was trained by Mr. Tamil Nadu bodybuilding Champion then? Yes, Rajendran, the then champion did train the actor for three months straight for his titular character. Although it was not a big hit, the physical transformation deserved an applaud.

Dhill (2001):

Dhill was the very first movie that featured his affectionate name “Chiyaan Vikram” which he gained from his most famous movie “Sethu”. Vikram’s Dhill was still one of the topmost favourite movies for many. He toned his physique for the film while he appeared as a fit youngster who aspires to become a Police. It was the time when young audiences when inspired by him to go to gym.

This superhit 1999 movie was from the ace director Bala. Vikram who played a student role in the first part of the movie, acted as a person who lost his mind in the second sequence of the movie. ‘Sethu’ was considered to be the actor’s huge first hit. For this masterpiece, Chiyaan Vikram relied on the fruit juices to reduce the desired weight of 16 kgs for six months straight. To maintain the desired weight, he just leaned on to the scanty diet. As per his interview, it was said that towards the end of the shooting, the director of the movie instructed the actor to have an intake that give enough strength to stand up. And that’s his dedication towards acting and ‘Sethu’ turned out to be the masterpiece of Tamil Cinema and it cannot be denied.
