Superstar Vijay is all geared up with his forthcoming movie, Bigil, this Diwali. The actor will make a splashing box-office entry amid the festive fervour, with his much-anticipated sports drama.
Ever since the announcement of the film, social media is going gaga over the film calling it a potential blockbuster. Be it the audio launch or the trailer release, fans, industry insiders as well as celebrities have shown an overwhelming response.
As the countdown for Bigil’s theatrical release begins, the makers of the film have released a new power-packed poster. The latest poster shared by the filmmaker shows superstar Vijay and Bigil’s leading lady Nayanthara striking intense expressions.
One can also see the female football team in the backdrop, promising an intense, emotional yet action-packed sports flick.
The film also stars Vivek, Kathir, Jackie Shroff, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Rajkumar, Devadarshini, Yogi Babu, Soundararaja, G. Gnanasambandam, Poovaiyar, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollamma, and more.
The soundtrack and background score was composed by A. R. Rahman, marking his second collaboration with Atlee after Mersal, and also his fifth collaboration with Vijay. The album features five songs, with all lyrics written by Vivek, out of which one song, “Verithanam” is sung by Vijay.
Bigil is scheduled to be released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu on 25 October 2019.
