Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation brings ALONE ~ A signature drama of 2021 ~ At Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway
Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Festival is back this year at Namma Bangaluru’s luxurious property, Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway. The drama ALONE is written by Noor Baig and directed by Padmashri recipient Mohammad Ali Baig. The dramatization of Noor Baig’s short story is about a yesteryear star who during the pandemic lockdown reflects on her solitude and the many characters she has played in her life. Set in the recent lockdown, yesteryear movie star Asha looks back at her unusual life journey. From her stint in Hollywood, Bollywood, and Southern films, Asha’s spiritual quest takes her back and forth between glory and celebrity, while personal loss and isolation take center stage during the global pandemic.
