Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee, the popular TV couple, have tested positive for corona-virus. The actor took to his social media profile and issued a statement and also urged people who got in contact with them, get tested.
Gurmeet took to his Twitter and informed his friends and fans about the same. He shared, “My wife Debina & I have tested positive for COVID-19 today. We are touch wood, doing fine and are taking all the necessary precautions, in isolation at home. We request all those who have been in contact with us to take care…Thank you all for your love and support”
Debina Bonnerjee also issued a statement on her social media, which read, “My Husband Gurmeet and I have tested positive for Covid-19 today. We are touch wood, doing much better and taking all the necessary precautions, in isolation at home. We request all those who have been in contact with us to take care…Thank you all for your love and support”
The two came in the limelight when they played the protagonists Ram and Sita in Ramayan. From being a pair of strugglers to becoming one of the most-loved star couples, these two actors have come a long way.
Gurmeet recently completed work on his upcoming film ‘The Wife’, helmed by ZEE Studios. The film also stars Sayani Datta, it is written and directed by Sarmad Khan.
