Due to corona-virus pandemic everything is on halt, including shootings. Actor Sharad Kelkar who carved his own niche with his versatile roles expressed his wish to become a cricketer.  As the shootings are on halt, the ‘Tanhaji: Unsung Warrior’ seems to be bored to death and wants to the IPL 2020.

Sharad took to his Instagram handle and asked that if there is any vacancy in the IPL team. Meanwhile, on the work front, Sharad will be seen in ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ Starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role, the film is based on the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Ajay Devgn plays the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik in the film.

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha. Directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, the film will soon premiere on Disney+Hotstar.

During the 1971 Indo-Pak war, the IAF airstrip at Bhuj was destroyed in combat. Subsequently, 300 local women led by IAF squadron leader Vijay Karnik heroically toiled day in and day out to reconstruct the airbase.

This act of resilience was a pivotal moment which not only boosted the morale of the country, but also helped us win the war. The film is a tribute to the unparalleled bravado displayed not only by IAF, but the civilians as well.
