Anupam Kher who recently launched his autobiography titled ‘Lessons Life Taught Me Unknowingly’ shared the book with PM Narendra Modi. Kher known to be a party advocate shared an emotional tweet, post their meeting.
The veteran actor wrote, “Dear Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi ji! It was a pleasure to share the cover of my autobiography #LessonsLifeTaughtMeUnknowingly. You inspire millions of us to give our best for our country. Thank you for the lessons one learns from you knowingly. Jai Ho and Jai Hind.”
The autobiography was launched in New York over the weekend, by Rishi Kapoor at a special event at the Consulate General of India in New York. He was also accompanied by his NBC’s show New Amsterdam’s costars.
PM Modi also responded to Kher’s tweet and wished him best for the book. The tweet read “There is a lot we learn from each other, knowingly and unknowingly. The process of educating oneself never stops. May we all keep learning and discovering new aspects. Best wishes for the book @AnupamPKher. Am sure people will enjoy reading about your experiences.”
Honored Kher wrote back, “Thank you Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modiji for your wishes. I feel humbled and honored. #LessonsLifeTaughtMeUnknowingly..”
Anupam Kher was last seen in One Day and The Accidental Prime Minister in 2019 and is currently shooting for NBC’s show New Amsterdam in New York.
