Excited For My First Female Oriented Film Dark Path Says Digangana Suryavanshi

Digangana Suryavanshi is just 23 years old and at such a small age, she has already impressed the audience with her acting skills in television and films. The actress is now all set to make her acting debut for an OTT Platform with a female oriented film ‘Dark Path’.

She spoke to News Helpline about the film, her character and much more.

Talking about the film, she said,” I am very excited for my first female oriented film Dark Path. This film marks my OTT debut as well. I feel all my films have been very special for me but this one is super special. The script is very tight and it is a suspense thriller film.”

Sharing about her character in the film, she said, “My character is neither positive nor negative in the film. It is a grey character so you can neither hate it nor love it. It has so many shades to it, which makes it very interesting. The story starts with my character and it revolves around my character.”

OTT platforms are soon going to get censored. Giving her reaction to it, she said,” I think censor is necessary because today even the kids have access to an OTT platform. There should be some filter for sure. Moreover, I think to make a good film, you do not necessarily need bold scenes, the script and the story should be good. “

Every platform these days is giving more attention to female oriented scripts. Talking about the same, she said,” This is a good transformation which should have been done before only. There are some scripts that can be only told through a female character. Earlier heroines used to not get the right importance but I am happy it is happening now.”

Talking about her dream role, she said, “I want to do a biopic on Madhubala ji. She contributed so much to the film industry in that era that we remember her till date. So it will be an honour to play her on the screen.”
