Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan took to her social media profile and shared a beautiful message for niece Samiera, who turns 16, on her birthday. Samiera is the daughter of Karisma Kapoor.
Sharing a throwback picture of her with Karisma’s kids Samiera and Kiaan, Kareena referred to Samiera as “our first born baby”. The image appears to be from a holiday as a suitcase can be seen in the image and the three seem to be at an airport.
The caption read, “You call me BebooMA for a reason… cause when Mom says no you know who to turn to… always got you my girl…forever. Fly high, be happy and healthy …I love you our first born baby Happy birthday Samuuuu”
Meanwhile, Kareena and actor Saif Ali Khan were blessed with their second baby last month. The actress shared a glimpse of the little one in a Women’s Day post on Instagram recently.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will soon be seen sharing screen space with Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chadha.
Helmed by Advait Chandan, the film is an adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump, which itself based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the same name, the film also stars Mona Singh.
The adaptation of Forrest Gump, underwent a series of changes over a period of two decades, with Atul Kulkarni spending the first ten years adapting the script, and another ten years purchasing the remake rights. Aamir Khan who bought the rights of the film in early 2018, announced the film officially on 14 March 2019, with its title.
The movie is now scheduled for release during Christmas 2021.
