Actress Hina Khan clocks 12 years in the film industry this month and bags her first international award. The actress has bagged prestigious Montgomery International Film Festival, USA as Best Actress (Feature Film) for her stellar role in Lines.
Lines was produced by Rahat Kazmi Films and co-produced under Hiros Faar Better Films, a production house started by Hina Khan and partner Rocky Jaiswal.
The film was shot in Kashmir and the poster unveiling happened at the prestigious Cannes film festival in 2019, marking Hina’s big red carpet debut.
Hina Khan took to her social media profile and shared the letter of confirmation for the award along with some candid stills from the film Lines.
She wrote, “This month I complete 12 years in the industry and I couldn’t be more proud of myself as my film LINES, is getting an overwhelming response overseas and has added another reason for the celebration. I am so thrilled and excited to share a token of appreciation received at the prestigious Montgomery International Film Festival, USA as Best Actress (Feature Film). #FaridaJalal @rahatkazmi @hirosfbf @rishi_bhutani”
Hina Khan made her debut back n 2009 with the series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Soon after that, Hina became a contestant on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and Bigg Boss 11.
She has starred in three movies namely Smartphone, Hacked and Unlock.
