Actor Rakul Preet Singh has approached the Delhi High Court on Thursday requesting them to put a stop on the media trial going on against her in connection with the drug probe in Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The Court has issued a notice to the Central Government, Prasar Bharti, Press Council of India, National Broadcaster Association and the Information and Broadcast Ministry.

In her petition before the Delhi High Court, Rakul has said that a media trial has been going on against her ever since her name came up in the Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty drug case. The actress has requested the High Court to instruct the I&B Ministry that there should be no negative media coverage against her. She also said that she got to know that Rhea has named her and Sara Ali Khan while she was on a shoot.
