Most of the Bollywood is opting for digital release due to Corona pandemic but few are still opting for theatrical release. Two such movies are Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh starrer cricket biopic 83.
The official handle of Reliance Entertainment confirmed the release dates of both the films. It said, “We are very confident that the ongoing theatrical exhibition situation will improve much in time for the release of our awaited films, Sooryavanshi and 83, this Diwali and Christmas, respectively”
Festival season sure will come with extra bonanza in-terms of multi-starrer mega movies Sooryavanshi and 83.
Sooryavanshi is directed by Rohit Shetty and written by Yunus Sajawal. It is bankrolled by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta and Rohit Shetty.
It is the fourth instalment of Shetty’s Police Universe and features Akshay Kumar as the titular character opposite Katrina Kaif.
Kabir Khan directorial 83 is jointly produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala.
The film stars Ranveer Singh as cricketer Kapil Dev, along with Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, Sahil Khattar and Amrita Puri.
