Tahira Kashyap Khurrnana wishes husband Ayushmann by posting a cute picture on his 36th birthday

Filmmaker and author Tahira Kashyap Khurrana wished her actor husband Ayushmann Khurrana on his 36th birthday by posting a cheesy picture on Monday.

Tahira gave a glimpse of their PDA to her Instagram followers by posting a cute picture of herself with her better half. In the picture, it can be seen that Ayushmann has cake all over his face and Tahira is licking it with her tongue.

She captioned the picture as, “Having my cake and eating it too! @ayushmannk #happybirthdaysoulmate”.

Ayushmann and Tahira met each other in high school in their hometown, Chandigarh. They started dating in college and they got married in 2008. The couple became proud parents to Virajveer on January 2, 2012, and Varushka on April 21, 2014.

‘Vicky Donor’ actor stood like a pillar with Tahira when she battled with cancer. She was diagnosed with Stage 0 breast cancer in 2018 but she came out as a winner in her battle with the disease.

Ayushmann had an interesting career trajectory as he won the second season of reality television show ‘MTV Roadies’ in 2004 and then, he ventured into an anchoring career. He made his film debut in 2012 with the romantic comedy ‘Vicky Donor’ in which his performance as a sperm donor earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Following a brief setback, he starred in the commercially and critically successful romance ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ (2015). Khurrana went on to establish himself with the comedies ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ (2017), ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ (2017), ‘Badhaai Ho’ (2018), ‘Dream Girl’ (2019), ‘Bala’ (2019) the thriller ‘Andhadhun’ (2018) and the crime drama Article 15 (2019).

Ayushmann is known for his portrayals of ordinary men often battling social norms and he is the recipient of several awards, including a National Film Award and four Filmfare Awards, and has appeared in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list of 2013 and 2019.

Ayushmann Khurrana will share screen space with Vaani Kapoor for the first time in director Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming film, due to begin production in October. Ayushmann will reportedly undergo a physical transformation for the project, billed as a ‘lovely and heartrending film’ in which he plays role of an athlete.
