After 28 days of receiving treatment, Abhishek Bachchan has been tested negative for Covid-19 and has been discharged from Nanavati hospital. The actor tested negative this afternoon and is headed back home in Juhu.
Elated Abhishek Bachchan took to his social media profile and confirmed his test results. He wrote, “A promise is a promise! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this. Thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. THANK YOU!”
Abhishek will remain in isolation there, where his family members – Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan, and Jaya Bachchan are already quarantining.
Abhishek is last out of the Bachchans to be discharged from the hospital. Amitabh Bachchan, who was tested positive for COVID-19 with Abhishek on July 11, 2020, was discharged on July 2, 2020, just a week before Abhishek could go home.
