Experience the culinary brilliance of Chef Katherine Chung as she presents her unparalleled expertise in Modern Hakka Chinese Cuisine during a five-day pop-up ‘Two Worlds, One Wok’ at the award-winning restaurant Stix, at Hyatt Regency Chennai, in collaboration with Yogita Uchil who is a food evangelist and a travel influencer.

Chef Katherine along with the Executive Chef of Hyatt Regency Chennai, Manish Uniyal has meticulously crafted an exclusive decadent pop-up menu from November 22nd till 26th 2023. This exclusive menu showcases a fusion of traditional and royal dishes, combining rarely-seen Hakka Chinese delicacies from Hakka homes with exquisite Imperial Chinese cuisines.

Speaking about her journey, Chef Katherine Chung, said “This is the food I cook for my family, what we eat on a daily basis, and this is what I want to showcase, to tell guests that Hakka cuisine is much more than Hakka Noodles and Chilli Chicken.”

Manish Uniyal, the Executive Chef at Hyatt Regency Chennai, added, “We believe in bringing a fresh experience to guests every few months. Each menu is unique and carefully planned so that guests can experience cuisines of different cultures from across the globe.”
