The spontaneous overflow of creativity cannot be ceased and you have got to let it flow. The world wants more of it. And what will be the result of two creative people marrying each other? That hits different. Two creative people sharing the same roof will be a magical destination. This article is all about creative power couples from art world that our nation has got in its home. 3 Creative Power Couples from Art World:
Anju Dodiya & Atul Dodiya:

It is said opposite things attract each other. But artistes are exceptional. Artsy people tend to attract another artsy people. With this note, we introduce you to the mind-blowing artist power couple – Anju Dodiya and Atul Dodiya from the creative world. Although they share similar interest in art, their art differs. Not only does their art differs but also process of creating it differs.

The artist couple met as students at Mumbai’s JJ school. They share similar taste for French and Italian movies and literature and use to visit galleries together till date. They work separately at each other’s art studio which is away from home to avoid distraction. Moreover, they respect each other’s creative space and are critics for each other. Aren’t they the best Indian artist couple?

Surya & Sujith:

Secondly, we have a Kerala power couple – Sujith & Surya from the art world. The couple who wants to train more people on mural painting and give them a livelihood. Sujith and Surya attended a mural workshop in Wayanad which they later took to next level. The art couple has started painting on the bamboo and sell them to tourists. The mural painting duo curtain raised Bhavm just as an initiative to provide livelihood to women in rural parts of Kerala. They work with 22 artisans to produce a vibrant and radiant collection of Bamboo murals. The start of Bhavm is also an initiative to preserve Chuvarchitram, an old-art form and pat artsy people on their shoulder to enhance their skill. The power couple’s Bhavm is expertise in bamboo murals, jewelry, painted terracotta tiles, sarees, dupattas, hand painted fridge magnets, bookmarks, pen holders, and cotton indoor footwear too. They use only five colours such as yellow, blue, red, green and black to instill the traditional art design.

Aruna Visesvar & Visesh Aiyer:

This power couple has a different story to narrate. Aruna and Visesh who are the founders of Adhyapana CBSE school in Madurai, painted their home’s compound wall with traditional kolams and rangolis. The fading tradition of drawing kolams is witnessed as years-go-by. However, it is common to watch women drawing kolams at dawn in front of their house. The Tamil traditional festival, Pongal, has its importance of Kolam which is drawn using rice flour. The legend has it that the tradition brings good health and wealth. Well, we are going to meet a couple from Madurai who hired an artist to paint their walls with Kolam. Did you know any male-friend who is into Kolam drawing art?

Aruna Visesvar & Visesh Aiyer

The power duo wanted to do it to create awareness about the tradition and to impart a livelihood to a struggling artist. The couple with the help of their friends, found an amazing artist, Elangovan who then painted their compound wall with 55 Kolams. Elangovan has been struggling to make a living during the lockdown. But this power couple found a finest yet underrated artist and gave him the light in a dark. Aruna, in an interview, explained that she got this idea of painting the wall after watching a video of lady painting her home using cow dung and drawing warli designs. This inspired her to hunt for a city-based artist in the temple town, Madurai. The hunt made them discover a 55-year-old artist who then become recognized through his beautiful paintings on the couple’s compound wall.
