Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center celebrates Christmas spirit with its annual Christmas Tree lighting event

The Christmas Tree Lighting is a ritual that officially marks the onset of the festive time and ringing in the joy and happiness of the holiday season. Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center celebrated their annual Christmas Tree Lighting event on 6th December 2023.

Unveiling the Christmas Spirit, the ceremony started from 7 pm onwards and was hosted at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center, and in attendance were the long staying resident guests of the hotel, and Bengaluru’s socialites and influencers. Upon arrival, Consulates and other guests were greeted with mulled and white & red wine sangria along with delicious cup of hot chocolate exclusively brewed for the younglings. The event saw a spirited Carol Singing performance and unveiling of our ginger bread house during which the Christmas tree was lit by the General Manager Mr. Sanjay Gupta. Soon thereafter, Santa Claus entered with goodie bags and chocolates and cookies for the kids.

In keeping with its tradition of always coming up with innovative & creative Christmas Trees, this year the team at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center unveiled the Bamboo Christmas Tree. This unique tree encompasses all the virtues of Reduce, Reuse & Recycle – the primary ingredient utilised for constructing this tree is bamboo sticks. This is something that has never been attempted before and true symbol of how waste material can be reused & upcycled to create beautiful objects of art. This initiative symbolises our commitment towards protecting the environment and promoting sustainability. We are confident that it would encourage our team members & guests alike to continue such initiatives.
