Azadi Records is an extremely distinct monthly property which showcases a variety of artists which the label engages with outside the hip hop scene. They engage in monthly introduction of a diverse set of acts showcasing sonic landscapes and communities under one roof for their fans to groove to.
This month Azadi records will be featuring top artists such as Dogz Music, Tienas with FTS Music, SPRYK and EZ Riser at the expansive space of antiSOCIAL, Mumbai.
Spryk
Spryk is the electronic music & art exploration of Mumbai based Tejas Nair. From immersive art installations, awe-inspiring Audio Visual Live performances, ambisonic sound for VR, Spryk’s experiments with electronic exploration that makes use of available technology while referencing that which came before it.
EZ Riser
Ez Riser is a solo project of Sohail Arora who pushes with cutting edge electronic music with heavy emphasis on bass. He’s famously known for playing at the top venues all over the Metro cities and is renowned for performing at grand festivals like Magnetic Fields, NH7 Weekender, VH1 Supersonic, Amsterdam Dance Event, Goa Sunsplash Festival .
Tienas
Tienas the Mumbai based MC Tanmay Saxena, popularly known as Bobby Boucher, has created a fresh impact on the city’s hip hop community. Bringing to the forefront a Nujabes-inspired sonic aesthetic that’s extremely rare in a region heavily dominated by ‘gully rap’.
FTS
FTS is a crew from Mumbai who delve in the tracts of hip hop, space, pop and element. Their high energy live performances are to look out for.
Dogz
Dogz is a hip hop crew from Dharavi, Mumbai.
