Actress Kangana Ranaut has made sari’s style statement and recently she was seen wearing a plain cotton sari that costs Rs 600 only. Sister and Manager Rangoli shared details of her sari on social media and instead of praise it has gathered some trolls online.
Rangoli Chandel took to twitter to upload the photograph of Kangana in the sari, and described it in detail. She wrote, “On her way to Jaipur today Kangana is wearing Rs 600 sari she picked from Kolkata, she was shocked to know one can get such good organic cotton in this amount and it is heartbreaking to see how hard our people work and how little they earn. Please support our own before international brands take away this also from them. Indian weavers,”
However long with the Sari Kangana was seen pairing the Indian three-piece ensemble with a Prada trenchcoat and a handbag with black sunglasses and heels. Netizens quickly pointed out the hypocrisy as the actress had to cover up the Rs. 600 sari with a jacket and handbag worth lakhs each.
One user wrote, “Why Prada bag with Rs 600 saree. Absolutely hypocritical,”. Another user went on to call both sisters “fake”. The tweet read, “Holding a Prada bag worth Rs 2-3 lacs, wearing Sunglasses and heels worth Rs 1-2 lacs and your propaganda priceless. Fake hone ki bhi limit hoti hai,” while another wrote, “That’s a 1,20,000 PRADA BAG!!!!! That’s hypocrisy in one picture.”
On the work front, Kangana will be seen next in ‘Panga’ directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari which also stars Richa Chaddha. The film will follow a Kabbadi player and her struggle to get to the top.
